Green Sheep Group Meet the Secretary of State Again

We were presented with the Queens Award for Innovation in 2018 for SnüzPod, which has recently become the best-selling bedside crib in the UK.

Paul Maurice and Rosie Pritchard were presented with the award at Buckingham Palace. The official presentation was held at our head office in Stratford upon Avon. Made by Tim Cox, Lord Lieutenant of Warwickshire and Nadhim Zahawi, our MP and the then Trade Minister.

Nadhim and Roger Allen, our CEO got on like a house on fire. Since then, much has happened to us all. We went from a turnover of 5.1M to 17.5M in those few short years. Nadhim also gave the UK superb public service as Vaccines Minister in 2021. We all have much to thank him for.

He was recently promoted to Secretary of State for Education and is now a senior Cabinet Minister. Roger and Nadhim met up again this month at an excellent round table meeting. The purpose was to hear about the excellent work going on at the Department for Education and for business and local heads of schools, colleges to discuss skills in the workplace, training and ensuring a joined-up approach between education and the real-world workplace.

We are delighted to have seen such good growth at Green Sheep Group coupled with the success of the man who was such an inspiration to us when we were just getting going. In these uncertain times its great to have such a great good news story to share.
