As Product Marketing Executive, reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will act as the bridge between Marketing, Sales and Product teams ensuring the successful launch of products from conception through to launch in appropriate channels.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Works with the Product team to build a development roadmap based on trends and research, and ensures short and long-term Sales & Marketing priorities are considered
  • Researches and monitors insights into consumer use of own brand and competitor products, untapped opportunities and buyer profiles, through primary and desk research feeding information back to the Product team
  • Champions consumer research and supports concept generation through providing insights into product pricing, range hierarchy, features to internal teams
  • Works with the Product Team to gain full understanding of key product features and builds on product messaging that sets our products apart for our competitors, offering a unique selling point to customers
  • Works with product development team to gain full understanding of key product features and build on product messaging that sets our products apart for our competitors.
  • Ensure claims are substantiated through testing by working closely with the Product Team to ensure risk is mitigated at an early stage in the product development / marketing cycles
  • Owns end to end delivery to market for new products

Product Launches and Marketing

  • Working with key teams to create detailed project timing plans, improving processes and owning the marketing critical path to ensure all products are developed and launched on time and on budget
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and agencies, to brief, project manage, proof and ensure all 'go to market' product collateral has been delivered (Including: instruction manuals, packaging, international translations, photography and product imagery, videography, product copy, sales pitch decks and in-store point of sale)
  • Ensures internal buy in across all external facing activity (B2B or B2C)
  • Presentations & one-pagers to support the Sales team (Trade), Customer Experience and to the wider company (highlighting product info as well as: market research leading to the creation of MRDs, objective setting, target audience profiling, product naming, key features and colours, SKUs and RRPs, communication of USPs and claim substantiation, images, videos, marketing critical path and prioritisation (at task level), campaign planning, spend and analysis)
  • Working with key teams as well as external agencies and suppliers to develop and deliver trade and consumer facing product launch and marketing strategies (Including all associated assets/channel activity - Digital, PR, social and in-store)
  • Owns budget and development of product marketing collateral
  • Tracking of campaign performance including core metrics, revenue, digital metrics and reviews

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Product Marketing Executive to join the Marketing Team in a growing business, with a salary of £35,000

Hours are Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm based at our head office in Snitterfield
