Product Designer & Developer – Furniture
Green Sheep Group is a high growth and ambitious UK based SME. Operating two award winning brands, Snüz and The Little Green Sheep selling to some of the UK’s biggest retailers and internationally. We offer a range of products for babies and children, across multiple brands and a variety of product categories, including furniture, bedding, mattresses and toys. Innovation and style are in the DNA of every product we design with quality, sustainability and fair trading at the heart of how we manufacture.
Our furniture category has seen huge growth over the last few years and with continued opportunity and investment in this area, we are now looking to grow the furniture design section of the Product department.
Visiting factories in Europe and the Far East several times a year will be crucial to ensure quality is upheld and NPD happens efficiently and quickly.
Creating and managing a market leading furniture range, that is full of beautiful products that are on brand and of consistently high quality is the ultimate goal of the role.
Project managing the range of furniture that Green Sheep Group creates; from new products to improving the quality/efficiency of the process of NPD within hard goods, from concept through to delivery, will be a crucial part of your role. Maintaining the new product pipeline utilising project management software to manage various projects simultaneously, ensuring all internal and external personnel and suppliers are working to achieve a common goal and meeting deadlines.
Skills and experience required
- 2+ years of furniture and textile design experience
- CAD proficient (Solidworks ideal)
- Track record of successful product delivery
- Experience of supplier/factory visits
- Project Management skills
- Good portfolio of creative work
- Experience in managing and improving quality

We offer a £30,000 - £35,000 Salary (depending on experience). Working Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm based at our head office in Snitterfield.
