Inventory Planner

Green Sheep Group is a high growth, ambitious, UK based company. We operate the award-winning brands, Snüz and The Little Green Sheep, selling the most innovative and parent focussed nursery and baby products internationally and domestically to some of the UK’s biggest retailers.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Merchandising team as an Inventory Planner.

To succeed in this role, you will have an affinity for working with numbers, have excellent attention to detail and be able to communicate confidently with colleagues at all levels of the business. This role will report to the Merchandiser and will work closely alongside the Sales, Customer Service and Warehouse teams and is crucial to delivering the company strategy.

In this fast-paced role, no two days will be the same and your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring stock utilisation is maximised to exceed the sales plans and prioritised accordingly
  • Creating and prioritising sales orders to maintain effective stock allocation
  • Keeping the stock system accurate and up to date including stock takes
  • Managing and reporting on inventory levels and SKU performance
  • Reporting and analysing sales data and creating reports to help make informed decision for the business
  • Quickly identifying any risks or deficiencies in the stock planning process, improving and communicating these quickly and effectively

In this fast-paced role, no two days will be the same and your responsibilities will include:

  • 2 years’ experience working in a similar role is preferred but not essential
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including experience in creating reports, manipulating data and using pivot tables
  • Excellent analytical skills with good attention to detail/li>
  • Great communication skills to be able to build and maintain relationships with people at all levels of the business
  • Fast learner of systems and processes
